Senri Shiki x Takuma Ichijo from the Manga and Anime "Vampire Knight".

*gasp* I know, I actually drew someone other than Kaname and Zero for a change! Couldn't resist, I like these guys too. I know that Ms. Hino probably didn't intend for these two to come off seeming so much like a couple, but if you've read the series... come on, they totally do, and they'd be very sweet together too. :D

As with almost all my pics now, I drew and colored this in Photoshop with my wacom pen tablet.

Also as with most of my pics, I have more than one version of this. I'm not going to upload them both this time though, I don't want to keep cluttering up my gallery, but you can find the version of this pic where Takuma is also shirtless on my blog, here: [link]

This pic isn't necessarily from the story, but I suppose it could be and it was definitely inspired by it... (and by some good friends of mine... you know who you are... ;))

smexy! :D I know what you mean about them seeming like they're together, when I first glanced at the first page of the bonus chapter in vol. 4 I was like " oh wow Ichigo and Shiki are gonna be a yaoi couple?!" *sigh* I should have known it was too good to be true, since Matsuri Hino (from what i've seen) only does boyXgirl. but that's what fangirls are for right? XD Gotta fill in the blanks lol

Thanks! LOL yeah, I know, I had the exact same thought when I saw that first bonus chapter pic! But you're right, that's not Ms. Hino's thing as far as I've seen either, so it's up to us fans! :D

Usually i drew a sketch on paper, scan it and then do the outline on photoshop. Rough sketch. I will edit lot of time before i proceed to colour. Usually i start with the eyes colouring, face and then the hair. For hair i usually colour the base colour first( Usually start from dark, and then i do the lighter colour for shading). After that, i will then redo the outline for the hair. You use wacom tablet for the outline? I use that for rough sketch and then redo the outline using pen tool. cos it is neater. I hope my comment help a little.

Thanks for the comments. :] Yeah, I am doing it mostly the same way now! Only I usually sketch the rough draft on the computer with my tablet instead of on paper as my scanner is a pain and a half and the more I can do on the computer the better. I do sketch free hand first, and then go over again with the pen tool for cleaner lines, I agree, that works really well. I also keep my outlines on seperate layers from the colored-in portions so I don't smudge my lines. I've been staying away from doing black outlines for some reason, although maybe I should. Right now though I mostly outline in a darker color of whatever the color is supposed to be. Only time the outlines and inner colors mix is sometimes with the hair... which is still a tricky spot for me, but I'm working on it... :-P
