Zero Kiriyu and Kaname Kuran from the manga/anime Vampire Knight. Drawn and colored in Photoshop CS3 with a wacam pen & tablet.

I am tempted to keep tweaking and tweaking this picture, but I think I'd better just post it as I'll probably just screw it up worse. :roll:

Kaname pulled Zero closer, inhaling his scent as thier lips met, caressed, parted, met again. He clutched at the other's sweatshirt, heedless of the dark expanse of the abandoned park. At 3am, there wasn't much traffic out on the jogging trails, and the dark bushes hid them from any random, insomniac runners.

Zero closed his eyes as Kaname filed his senses, rocking forward on his knees, the hand clutching Kaname's waist sliding up under the pureblood's shirt, dragging the hem upwards a bit and exposing pale skin, almost lumincent in the moonlight.

They shouldn't be doing this here... in the park... so exposed... but neither of them seemed to care.

"And you said jogging together was stupid..." Kaname murmured in amusment against his lover's lips.

"We're not exactly jogging, are we?" Zero murmured back with a dark little grin before his their lips met again and talking quickly became irrelevent.

Little scene that came to mind as I was drawing. :heart: Probably mostly because no matter what I tried to do, it kept ending up looking like they were in sweats or jogging gear, so I finally gave up and let it be what it wanted to be.

I wanted to draw a picture of them actually kissing... but this ended up slightly different than I intended, and they're still not entirly kissing as much as I wanted, more like they're just about to kiss *sighs* but oh well, just means I'll have to try again.

I was attempting a slightly different style with this pic, using all black outlines, doing more free-hand and not relying on the pen tool as much. Dunno if I like the effect or not, but I like the pose. :D Also not really sure what happened with Zero and Kaname's hair... I wanted to show motion with it, like they were sitting or kneeling together and Zero has just at this moment rocked Kaname backwards as they trade silent, urgent kisses... ;D But, um, yeah, I think the hair just ended up looking messy.

The bracelets they're wearing are actually from my story "Blood Moon"... not about to try and explain it here, but long story short, they hide it from others when Kaname and Zero's scents are mingled from blood sharing or intimacy, allowing them more freedom... which it kind of looks like they're about to enjoy right now. ;D

Title comes from the All American Rejects song "Dance Inside". I thought it kind of fitting for two vampires. ;)
