Young Kaname Kuran and Nasser Ardon. Kaname is a pureblood vampire from the manga/anime "Vampire Knight". Nasser is an OC villain (and also a pureblood) from my VK fanfiction "Secrets in the Dark", which is what this picture is based on. Story can be found here: [link] if you're interested. Please heed all rating and warning info on the fic if you do check it out.

Drawn and colored in Photoshop with my Wacom pen tablet. And yes, it is supposed to be vaguely creepy/angsty and unsettling although it probably won't really have the right impression or make any sense unless you've read the story.

This is the first time in a long time I've tried to draw an original character (Nasser). It was fun, I think it turned out okay, although there are always things I wish I could do better. I actually drew this pic a little while ago, but didn't want to post it until "Secrets in the Dark" was further along and Kaname and Nasser's history was starting to come out, which it now is.

Kaname actually looks a little too young in this picture for what he's supposed to be in the story, but I tried... :-P

I know it's one of those things that is probably more interesting if you've been following the story, but even if not, I'd love to know what you think. =)

Ohhh, so this is Nasser! It helps out a lot, actually XD I was having so many indecisions on how this bastard looked, but now I've totally got it xD Thanks!

Yes, this is very most interesting. To finally get to see the bastard Nasser. I still have yet to read if Kaname will kill him in the end, but over all I do love this picture! When Nasser had Kaname hostage, and complete control with him.. I cannot remember if Kaname had a blood bond with him or not, I'll be rereading it soon so I'll catch up on the gist sooner or later. :)

I love the way Kaname's slightly blushing... Makes me wonder with chapter this is from*nosebleed*

Anyway, I read your fanfics, check your blok and all in all love what you're doing. I'm a fanfic writer myself, but I would bring disgrace to the dear characters should I try to draw them...
